Memories from 2007 AMO Show

2007 American Motors Owners Association " Mile High" International Convention

5-7 July 2007 the Colorado AMC club Hosted the 2007 AMO show here in Aurora Colorado. I would like to thank all the club members and the Rambler Ranch for the dedicated support that everyone put in to make this a great show. I would also like to thank all who attended the show as with out you we all wouldn't have had a great time. A special thanks to Lou & Shirley for sharing your time with us AMC nuts who will always remember what you have done for our hobby! Big Mike I would also like to thank you for putting together the SS/ AMX showing as you came along way to bring out Pete's Patriot as well as make sure the Drag on Lady made it here too. This was a highlight of the show! Last but not forgotten thanks to all the AMO workers that helped with judging to make the banquet go very smooth. Hope to see you next year in the great white north!

There was a total of 49-2 seater AMX's on the field.

Bob Kenworthy the ring leader of the show also had time to show his cars.

1967 Rebel (Bob Kenworthy)
1967 Rebel 550 ( only year and model to have a "B" piller post)
Numbered Print done for the show (25 total)

Everyone who got a print had them signed by Lou & Shirley.

The race that sill has never happened!

This is the first pass at the drags to set up the two SS/AMX's but after the second time run Pete's Patriot had a small problem with a rod to the oil pan. So for the opening race we had a local Gremlin run with the Drag on Lady!

The "Drag On Lady" did run a 10.6 in the quarter mile at 5,860 feet above sea level! (over 1 Mile above sea level)
